Redwood Inaugural Application

SMB thanks Redwood Middle School Assistant Director Jon Jow for contributing these materials-

Redwood's application to march in the 56th Presidential Inaugural Parade of President Barack Obama was submitted at the beginning of November, 2008.

Along with the application form, the application called for four other elements:

1) An audio recording of the group playing a march:

2) A video recording of the group performing or competing, similar to how they would appear in the Inaugural Parade:

3) No more than two photographs of the group.

Redwood was officially announced as a 56th Presidential Inaugural Parade participant on Monday, December 8, 2008. They were the only middle school given this honor, and the only marching band from California to represent the state.
