Tour Choir Letter (Jim Yowell, 6-12-09)
The Europe Choir will be holding their final rehearsals as they prepare to depart for Europe. It is imperative that everyone be at every rehearsal. Please bring your music, a bottle of water and something to snack on. These will be long rehearsals and we must cover a lot of music. If any parents would like to bring a snack for the students at the end of a rehearsal I know the students would appreciate it!
The Europe Choir will be rehearsing:
June 17 – 1:00 – 3:30 pm
June 23 – 9:00 – Noon
June 25 – 9:00 – Noon
June 25 – 7:30 – Participant Meeting in the “Library” (Everyone must be at this meeting)
June 29 – 9:00 – 11:30 AM
June 30 – 7:00 – 9:00 pm
July 1 – 9:00 – Noon
July 1 – “Kick Off” Concert for Choir and Orchestra 7:30 pm – Mc Afee Center (Everyone must be at this concert in concert clothes. The Band will perform July 3)
July 5 – 10:00 – Performance at Union Church (Concert Clothes - Warm up at 9:00, Performance at 10:00, finish by 11:00)
July 6 – Leave for Europe
Parents are always welcome to attend any of the rehearsals. Please make special notice that we have added a performance on Sunday, June 5 for Union Church located at 20900 Steven’s Creek Blvd. (across from the new Whole Foods) for their 10:00 AM service. We will be performing some of the literature we will be singing in Europe.
