Pancake Breakfast 2011

Please join us for Saratoga Music Boosters’ annual Pancake Breakfast scheduled for Sunday, May 1, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Pancake Breakfast is a spring music festival with all instrumental music groups and orchestras, from elementary through high school as well as choir and jazz dance / color guard groups from middle school and high school, performing.  

This is the last major fund-raiser of the year and all proceeds support Saratoga Music Boosters for the 2011/2012 music season.  Pancake Breakfast is a fun morning for the community to gather and enjoy a "homemade" breakfast of pancakes, sausage and strawberries while listening to great music performed by students of Saratoga’s music programs. There will be an opportunity to pre-order tickets ($10.00) by April 30th or to purchase tickets at the door ($12.00). Please see attached ticket order form or contact Carmel Thorn (343-1002).

We encourage and welcome all parents to attend.  We also need MANY parent volunteers to staff the event.  Last year over 100 people volunteered and we anticipate a need for even more this year.  For those with students performing, you can work before or after their performance.  Moms and dads are needed, some before the event and many on the day.  This is a volunteer opportunity for everyone – please sign up now! or contact Volunteer Coordinator,Joyce Shiuan (868-9569).

We will also be holding our traditional Silent Auction which will feature many music-themed and some non-music themed items, including an opportunity to conduct a music group, individual instructions, gift certificates to music stores and restaurants, an original art piece and many more terrific prizes.  If you have a special item or service to donate, or know of a business we could contact for a donation, please contact Sangita Seshadri (sangitaseshadri@gmail.com) or Carol Yuan (carol_yuan2000@yahoo.com).   Deadline for donation is April 29th.
