Join SMB

The Saratoga Music Boosters (SMB) supports the elementary, middle school, and high school orchestra and band programs, as well as the middle school and high school choir, color guard and jazz band programs. Some of the expenses SMB covers include sheet music, instrument purchases and repairs, music awards, and insurance. In order to encourage music participation at the lower levels, SMB subsidizes the Beginning Band and Beginning Orchestra Programs at the elementary school level. In the last three years, SMB purchased over $179,000 of music, instruments, music software and sound equipment for the Redwood and Saratoga Music Programs. Our primary fundraising source is YOUR MEMBERSHIPS. Your support is essential to our success!

Fundraising

Memberships, our primary fundraiser, are solicited in the back-to-school packets and in our newsletters, 4 times per year. In late November, we appeal directly to those families with students in the music program who are not yet members.
