Our Pancake Breakfast is scheduled for Sunday, May 7, 2006 from 8:00am to 12:30pm in the Saratoga High main quad and cafeteria. Pancake Breakfast is a spring music festival with all instrumental music groups, from elementary through high school and choir groups from middle school and high school, performing. It is also a community event where music education supporters gather to hear great music while enjoying breakfast. The breakfast consists of all you can eat pancakes, sausage, fruit, juice, milk, coffee and tea. People can eat a homemade breakfast, enjoy the music presentations and the special festivities and then head over to West Valley College to see the fabulous Rotary Art Show.

We encourage and welcome all parents to come to this fun event. We also need MANY parent volunteers to staff the event. Last year over 100 people volunteered and we anticipate a need for even more this year. For those with students performing, you can work before or after their performance. Moms and dads are needed, some before the event and many on the day. This is a volunteer opportunity for everyone – please sign up! There will be an opportunity to pre-order tickets, or to purchase tickets at the door. Please see attached ticket order form and volunteer sign up sheet.

We will also be holding our traditional Silent Auction, which will feature many music-themed and some non-music themed items, including an opportunity to conduct a music group, a hand-made quilt by alumni parent, Linda Allen, an original art piece, and a week vacation home in Boston, Massachusetts. If you have a special item or service to donate, please fill out the volunteer form or contact Maureen Barton maureenbarton@gmail.com. We are also having a raffle this year with many special gifts and could also use donations for services, restaurants and any specialty items. If you know of a business we could contact for a donation, please let us know.

This is really a fun event and we look forward to seeing a huge crowd. Please invite friends, neighbors and relatives for a very enjoyable morning. This is our last major fund-raiser of the year and all proceeds support Saratoga Music Boosters for the 2006/2007 music season.
