The holiday season will be here soon. There will be lots of parties and lots of treats to prepare. All the delicious cookies you purchased from Saratoga Music Booster Cookie Dough sale last year are gone. But, don't panic! The good news is... the Cookie Dough sale is here again! Our kids are still playing wonderful music, and they still need your support! The 15th annual sale kicks off on October 4th (elementary / Redwood) and October 10th (SHS students). All high school and middle school band, color guard, choral programs, and orchestra students will be selling these delicious, high quality products. Frozen, ready-to-bake cookie dough will be available in 11 flavors, including traditional favorites such as chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, cinnamon sugar, and peanut butter. Other gourmet flavors include lemon coconut, macadamia vanilla chip, cocoa mint chip and candy chips. No cutting or scooping is needed; the cookie dough is individually portioned and ready to go straight on a cookie sheet and into the oven! Also, check out the pumpkin pie, coffee cakes, and cheesecakes. Also available are ready-to-mix dry cookie mix or dry brownie mix which do not need to be frozen (in case you’ve run out of room in your freezer). These popular products often make an appearance at Saratoga gatherings be it a PTA or SEF meeting, play date or family gathering. These delicious products make wonderful holiday treats for family and friends. Wonderful for potlucks and parties, very easy to use and quickly baked! Do not forget to buy some extra to send “care packages” to students away at school as well! Remember that purchases support all music programs including guard, choral, orchestra, and band programs at SHS and Redwood, and orchestra and band programs at the elementary schools. Saratoga Music Boosters receives 43.5% of the sales from the cookie company. The Cookie Dough Sale is also a great way to support your favorite student with their individual travel funds. Every student selling over $25 in product will receive 25 cents per dollar after the first $25. Student proceeds will be placed in their individual travel fund. These funds can be used to offset travel costs for music department travel. The Macy’s trip is a little more than a year away; it’s not too early to start building up the travel funds. Last but not least, there will be prizes for top sellers, so please look at the detailed information that will be sent home on October 4th (or October 10th for SHS students). Student cookie orders are due on October 24th and the products will delivered to the SHS cafeteria on November 9th, just in time for the Thanksgiving holidays.
